Join me on a cross country ski tour out to the historic town of Gothic and stay the night in the Luxurious Maroon hut.
Spend the evening photographing the sunset over the historic buildings as well as the dramatic mountain scenery. After dinner, return outside to a nighttime winter wonderland to photograph night sky.

I have 4 overnight “Gothic Ski-Tour Photo Workshops” scheduled for this upcoming winter season.

All workshops involve an easy/moderate ski tour and overnight stay at the luxurious Maroon Hut in the historic town of Gothic.
All Workshops have a maximum of 6 people and cost $235. The cost includes one-on-one photographic instruction, as well as lodging fees at the Maroon hut. We will discuss and coordinate group dinner, breakfast, and snacks a few days prior to the workshop date.
It just so happens that I’m also an experienced chef and will be cooking your dinner for the evening.
Last winter the workshop participants enjoyed Rack of Lamb with a cabernet demi-glase, accompanied with roasted asparagus and truffle scented fingerling potatoes.

The Maroon Hut Has raised the bar for backcountry living with a ground source heat pump for heating and hot water, electricity, a full kitchen with running water, and four bedrooms with beds for eight people.
The Maroon Hut is amazing…Hot shower, microwave, in-floor heating, oven, stereo, refrigerator. It is not your average backountry hut.
